A Unique Co-operative Agency
The Actors’ Group (TAG) was the first co-operative agency outside London and was established in 1980. For over thirty years, it has represented actors working in theatre, television, film, radio and commercials.
TAG actors have worked for theatres including The West Yorkshire Playhouse, Harrogate Theatre, Oldham Coliseum and Theatre by the Lake, as well as for regional and national touring companies. Our actors can be seen regularly on the BBC, ITV and Channel Four, and are often to be heard on the radio. We also represent actors for corporate and role play work.
TAG are members of the Co-operative Personal Management Association which was founded in 2002, working to further and promote the interests of its members, who are acting agencies located across the UK.
We are currently welcoming new applicants. We are particularly interested in hearing from BAME actors. As a TAG member, you would be required to commit to a minimum of two or three days in the office every two months acting as agent on behalf of the membership.
In order to apply you must do so in writing by post or email. Please send a covering letter highlighting your reasons for applying to TAG, together with an up to date CV and headshot.
You cannot be considered for membership until at least two of our members have seen your work. We therefore suggest that you write to us when you are in a live production playing in the north-west or send us a recent showreel of your film work.
If we decide to take your application further, we will invite you to attend an interview with the membership.
*Please note we do NOT charge a joining fee.
