Barry Shannon

Barry Shannon is an actor, musician, writer and grandfather, based in Derbyshire. Barry spent most of his early career playing policemen, usually custody sergeants, appearing in Crossroads, Hollyoaks, The Bill and London’s Burning.

Barry spent six years with Oddsocks Productions touring internationally in Shakespeare, usually playing the old king who dies.

Barry has appeared in feature films, on TV and on stage, stage work includes time at The Swan Worcester, Theatre by the Lake, Croydon Warehouse and Sadlers Wells.

His plays for children and family audiences have been, and continue to be, performed across the country.

Barry is the lead guitarist and primary songwriter for the band: The Tallulahs.
