Debbie Bird

Debbie is a mature actress and singer, who joined the profession after a successful teaching career in performing arts. Previously from Sussex, she moved to the North West and has never looked back.

Debbie is an experienced solo performer, having written and performed her one woman show, Buzzing, at Edinburgh Fringe and then successfully toured it around the UK for a number of years, achieving an OffFest nomination from her Manchester Fringe performances. From pantomime to Shakespeare, the stage is her first love.

Debbie is an experienced screen actress with short and feature film credits but is still waiting for her first TV credit. Her goal is to be in a TV drama or comedy skit production.

She is also a highly experienced immersive performer, creating engaging and entertaining characters in a range of scenarios. With her malleable and versatile voice and face, she excels in playing character roles, from kooky to snooty.
