Leah Hand (She/Her) is a working class actor, writer, and theatre maker from the Liverpool City Region. Her work across stage and screen has received four and five star reviews. Writing credits include the queer cowboy in the round storytelling piece I’d Rather Be a Cowgirl, which she co wrote and co starred in, and Doll, which completed a month long run at the Edinburgh Fringe after touring Yorkshire. Leah is passionate about bringing a comedic Northern voice to her work and is currently developing a new musical titled Amore. In addition to acting & writing, Leah is an experienced facilitator, who has a full enhanced DBS on the update system. She also produces events including Edge Fest festival and her own series of disco and hip hop events.
Performance credits include touring Yorkshire allotments in 2024 with the outdoor musical Down t’Allotment for Bloomin' Buds Theatre Company, appearing in Coronation Street, multiple adverts and short films, and touring the UK and New York City with Brenda’s Got a Baby. Leah has also worked across a range of research and development projects for new theatre and performance work by other artists and companies.
